Hello from  the capital city of mosaics and the 2015 Italian capital of culture. I'm here attending the 4th International Mosaic Festival where works and artists from around the world meet every 2 years. I'm also doing a workshop at CaCo3 studio with Pavlos, Giuseppe and Aniko. It's a wonderful collaboration ( and ongoing interesting discussions ) with Pavlos who's energy and attentiveness are just great.

Getting on ..  Feels  promising but I have to interrupt the work because I'm off to Ravenna, Italy in 2 days ! Very excited !

 

Now is the only time ...

"Now is the only time ... what we do accumulates; the future is the result of what we do right now". Pema Chodron. I find this quote very true and inspiring.

I have somehow a fascination with the accumulation ; I start with one step/bit , then bit by bit and step by step I end up with a whole that has its own personality !

I'm starting this new project, with a pine tree stump ring, knowing where I'm going but looking forward to every accident, improvisation and diversion that gets along the way.
